Flambards
The Flambards Experience is a smaller theme park with a difference -
there is something for all to do no matter what the weather,
from the fun of the fair to the horrors of Britain in the Blitz
or a trip back in time to the Victorian Village.
The theme park is beautifully laid out as colourful gardens. There are good
refreshments on offer as well as plenty of cover for shade in the hot summer days.
The log flume is probably the most fun, but time taken on the leisurely helicopter
monorail allows one to see the countryside and ponder the next adventure.
The Victorian Village is a full size reconstruction of shops and homes from over a hundred years ago.
You
can really experience how life would have been in times past.
Britain in the Blitz is a fascinating insight into a
typical English street during the Second World War. Walk down the dimly lit street
with its bomb damaged buildings and you really get a feel of how
life was in those times.
