By train
The nearest train station is Bodmin Parkway which is on the line to Penzance
from London, Paddington or from Bristol, Birmingham and the North.
Many Saturday trains are very full, especially in the summer. Seat
reservations are strongly advised if available. You are asked to arrange with the train company for
the journey to be registered with their care service for disabled passengers.
By coach
National Express coaches come to Wadebridge itself, although this may
involve a change at Plymouth. Please indicate to the coach company when
you book the tickets if the guest is travelling alone and may need assistance.
By air
There are flights from several regional airports, including Gatwick and City
Airport, into
Newquay airport which is about 20 minutes drive from Wadebridge. Please
inform us
if you request the airline to provide assistance with
disembarking.
By car
Most people come by road from the end of the M5 near Exeter. You will
then follow the A30 to Bodmin. You are recommended not to take
the signposted route to Wadebridge after Launceston, but to continue until
you see the exit for Bodmin.
After passing through the town of Bodmin, continue along the A389 to
Wadebridge, turning off into the town at Egloshayle.
Carry on until the main bridge in town is reached, turn left at the roundabout here and across the bridge.
At the next round about turn left once again, at the final roundabout travel across the roundabout and up Trevanion Hill.
Keep travelling up until a left hand turning is visible with a large maroon Trevanion House sign on a bank in front of you. Turn left into the Culvery.
Take the next right into the Trevanion House car park.
You have arrived! Welcome to Trevanion House.
